Hours: 8-4pm 37.5 hrs/wk Salaried

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Oversee and lead fundraising, marketing, communications, advertising, and events and for the organization

· Develop and implement the organization's annual fundraising plan and oversee annual giving.

· Collaborate with the Executive Director, Board of Trustees, key staff, and volunteer leaders to implement the annual fundraising plan and cultivate financial gifts.

· Secure planned, major, capital, and corporate and donations

· Develop and secure federal, state, and foundation grant funding

· Manage and supervise the Marketing and Development team. Conduct regular meetings and provide coaching and training. Ensure team members work together collaboratively and have the skills, tools, and resources needed to succeed in their positions while also meeting organizational goals and objectives.

· Plan and execute all stages of donor moves management including lead donors and legacy society donors.

· Oversee prospect and donor management system, donor recognition, gift processing and acceptance.

· Responsible for the conception and execution of all onsite and special campus events and fundraisers.

· Create, implement, and evaluate a multi-year marketing and communications plan including brand identity, TV, radio, graphic materials, social media, and e-communications.

· Oversee and manage organizational web and social media sites.

· Report and review data and metrics on an ongoing basis to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and fundraising activities and campaigns and to make adjustments or improvements as needed.

· Act as an ambassador for MCC and its philanthropic mission with constituents, residents, resident families, volunteers, supporters, and community members and organizations.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred, or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be from appropriately accredited institutions.

· Seven to ten years of progressive fundraising experience, preferably in non-profit fundraising. Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) also preferred.

· Genuine interest in the Masonic Care Community and its mission and the ability to articulate compelling and persuasive presentations and proposals for philanthropic support for the organization

· Proven record of documented success as a major gift fundraiser and fundraising executive and discovery, qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of individual donors, grants, foundations, corporations and businesses

· Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff and work with volunteers

· Mature and professional attitude; exceptional organizational skills; highly developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills; energetic and detail-oriented.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

· Ability to formulate and execute long-term fundraising and marketing strategies and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment

· Exceptional personal initiative and the ability to drive results

· Energetic, proactive with a hands-on style

· Bright and creative with an executive presence to represent the organization to multiple constituents.

· The ability to work both collaboratively as part of a team in a complex environment, while also working independently to accomplish fundraising goals and metrics.

· Ability to work a flexible schedule, maintaining regular calendar and office hours, as well as periodic off-hours as responsibilities require. Requires local and national travel for donor meetings and events.

· Strong computer skills. Specifically Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.

The base range for this position is $90K - $100K annually commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education & prior accomplishments.

The position may be eligible for additional compensation not listed here, including but not limited to shift differentials, incentives or bonuses, as applicable.
