As a Farm Market Associate, you will carry out our Mission of Love by assisting in all aspects of retail sales in the Farm Market, in a variety of Orchard related tasks including, but not limited to fruit and produce preparation and assist in supervising and training Farm Market Assistants.
Our Farm Market Associate is responsible for the following:
- Demonstrates knowledge and ability pertaining to fresh produce, display and retail sales methods in order to obtain optimum production results and sales outcomes.
- Demonstrates the ability and knowledge to maintain and record daily cash receipts.
- Demonstrates the ability to meet, interact and communicate with customers in a positive manner to facilitate daily sales and stimulate repeat business.
- Demonstrates leadership skills, understands the basics of retail merchandising, and is familiar with all Farm Market daily operations.
What You Have:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Some retail sales experience preferred.
- Basic math / retail monetary skills.
- Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills.
