Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Warminster Campus - is immediately hiring a Baylor RN Supervisor to work every Saturday & Sunday from 6am - 6:15pm!

What You'll Do:
As a RN - Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will carry out our Mission of Love by ensuring the care of our residents is provided in a safe, caring, timely, and appropriate manner by maintaining the appropriate competencies and skills through continuing education that encompasses all of these areas. This will include assisting our residents in reaching or attaining the highest potential in their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
Our RN - Registered Nurse Supervisor is responsible for the following:
- Monitoring nursing care by visiting residents routinely to ensure continuity and continual evaluation of care as related to the IDCP and physician's orders. Assessing resident's condition and nursing care needs, assures that medications, treatments and care are being provided as ordered or specified on the IDCP. Maintaining appropriate documentation of nursing observations, including follow-up documentation in the medical record in accordance with acceptable medical standards of practice. Preparing equipment and assisting physician during rounds or special treatments and examinations of residents. Providing direct resident care and transports residents to activities and appointments as time permits. Answering call lights promptly. Performing glucometer readings, EKG's and other testing as needed.
- Notifying physician of change in resident's condition according to policy and acceptable professional standards. Notifying family of change in resident's condition or hospitalization according to policy. Reporting to oncoming staff on the next shift concerning condition of the resident or any unusual occurrences.
- Supervising professional and non-professional nursing personnel providing care at Masonic Villages. This includes coaching employees and groups of employees to enhance their performance and commitment. Assisting employee to develop skills needed to achieve optimal performance and strong performance in their role.
- Demonstrating commitment to assist in the nursing recruitment and retention efforts. Welcoming and participating in the orientation of new nursing department personnel.
- Maintaining nursing license and knowledge of OSHA, Department of Health regulations and other local, state and federal regulations. Attending in-serving program to remain knowledgeable of nursing practice in long-term care.
- Responsible for staff scheduling and will work the floor "as needed" to maintain adequate staffing for the community. Will provide holiday coverage if warranted.
What You Have:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse Required
- Current RN licensure by the PA State Board of Nursing Required
- CPR certification required (prior to or upon employment).
- Previous leadership and long-term care or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
- Computer skills required. Experience with an electronic medical record preferred.
