- Full Time Evenings (2pm - 10:15pm)
- Full Time Days (6am - 2:15pm OR 6am-6pm)

What You'll Do:
As a CNA, you will carry out our Mission of Love by providing direct care for our residents while following all facility and nursing policies and procedures.
Our CNA is responsible for the following:
- Provides care of our residents in a safe, caring, timely and appropriate manner to assist each resident in attaining their highest potential. Assists residents with activities of daily living. Performs any of the procedures included in the NA Training Manual, within the scope of practice and Masonic Village policies and procedures.
- Observes residents and answers call bells in a timely manner to respond to residents' care needs. Reports observations, changes, unusual conditions or reactions to supervisor or appropriate discipline in a timely manner. Takes appropriate action as requested or required by the situation.
- Reports upon first notice any environmental situation which could pose a threat to the safety or well-being of the Masonic Village Residents. Responds to Fire and Disaster alarms and drills according to procedures. Assists residents to safety during an evacuation.
- Provides high quality care while utilizing universal precautions during all assignments. Carries out assigned tasks in accordance with regulations established by federal, state, local and private accreditation organizations.
- Accurately completes, documents, and communicates all resident information and nursing care provided in a timely manner and in accordance to Masonic Village policies and procedures.
- Assists residents with activities of daily living, i.e., bathing, hair care, nail care, mouth care, feeding, back care and toileting. Assists residents during meals; replenishes ice and water in resident rooms; serves between-meal nourishments. Assists residents with ambulating or using a wheelchair/specialty wheelchair to activities, meals, or special appointments in a timely manner.
- Assists licensed personnel with special treatments, i.e., catheterizations and enemas, etc. Assists licensed personnel with treatments and collection of specimens as directed. Takes vital signs (TPR & BP), record Intake & Output, empty and change catheter drainage bags as directed, and performs glucometer checks as directed.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and healthy environment by keeping residents rooms neat, replenishing personal care items, storing and passing clean linen, changing bed linen when indicated and collecting and handling soiled personal laundry and linen according to procedure. Distributes clean personal laundry to appropriate residents and put it in drawers or closets. Assists in cleaning equipment i.e., bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs, lifts, geri-chairs, toothbrush holders, basins, and emesis basins, etc. according to procedure.
- Supports nursing staff with orientation of new residents as assigned. Assists residents with shopping, packing or unpacking personal belongings when required and as directed upon arrival, discharge, or change in level of care.
- Maintains compliance with yearly education requirements according to Masonic Village policies and DPW regulations. Maintains competencies and skills through continued education, including inservice education programs, floor conferences and nursing staff meetings.
- Participates in the orientation of new nursing personnel.
What You Have:
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Current Nursing Assistant certification required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills.
