The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe operation of a production forklift to stack material and empty full containers throughout the facility efficiently.

Overview
The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe operation of a production forklift to stack material and empty full containers throughout the facility efficiently.
What you will need:
- 1 year of experience driving a production forklift in a production setting
- HS Diploma or GED preferred
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Safety toe shoes
- Follow all safety practices
- Maintain a clean and safe work area (5s)
- Report to shift supervisor for daily work assignments
- Responsible for organizing lumber
- Coordinate with supervisor to empty full containers and trash bins throughout the day
- Continuously monitor the condition of the equipment to ensure it is operationally ready at all times
- Be able to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work get on and off a forklift throughout your 10-hour shift
- Willingness to learn and be trained
- Excellent attendance – must be reliable and punctual
