What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Masquerade Brooklyn LLC?
We are looking for an experienced bartender who can grow to be Head bartender/Captain
Bartender responsibilities:
- Setting up and breaking down the bar, cutting fruits and preparing garnishes
- Organizing the fridges, restocking wine/liquor, making syrups and juices if needed
- Utilizing POS and reservation systems (TOAST experience is a plus)
- Greeting guests and taking orders
- Making cocktails, mixed drinks (knowledge of classic cocktails is a must)
- Memorizing the wine-by-the-glass list and the wine characteristics (General wine knowledge is a plus)
- Helping to run food and buss tables when the bar is not busy
- Making lists for 86ed items, items that running low, etc. and communicating with other FOH staff
- Memorizing the food menu and the ability to describe the dishes perfectly
- Must have Friday/Saturday availability
