Position Summary
MassDOT’s Office of Transportation Planning seeks an intern/co-op for its Administrative section, reporting to OTP’s Manager of Administration. The Administrative co-op will support the development of streamlined administrative processes for invoicing, contracts, and budgeting under the guidance of the Manager of Administration. The co-op will collaborate across teams to optimize and enhance OTP’s administrative capacities, working in close partnership with the GIS Business Intelligence Analyst and the GIS/Research Team Project Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing enhancements to OTP’s Wrike Invoicing and Contracts platform.
- Creating Wrike job guides for OTP project managers.
- Development of quarterly cashflow reports in excel.
- Transition of the State Planning and Research (SPR) Work Program online platform from Salesforce to Wrike.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills.
- Familiarity with Wrike, Salesforce or other similar project management databases/platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service skills.
- Interest in public administration and business development.
