As Vice President of Business Development, you’ll be at the forefront of driving growth, building strong relationships and generating leads for our lending and investment banking teams. You’ll connect with key referral sources across southeastern Massachusetts, develop strategic partnerships, and champion MassDevelopment’s mission in real estate and community development. What You’ll Do
• Grow the business: Identify and pursue new opportunities through target outreach, strategic networking, and community engagement
• Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with internal teams and partners to share insights, resources, and best practices that fuel success.
• Be the Connector: Serve as the link between borrowers and lenders, ensuring smooth project execution and high customer satisfaction.
• Build strong Pipelines: Cultivate relationships with businesses, banks, nonprofits, and community stakeholders to drive sustainable development.
• Be the face of MassDevelopment: Represent the agency at industry events, speaking engagements, and trade shows, making sure our voice is heard.
• Guide & Refer: Connect customers with the right solutions, whether within our agency or through external partners ensuring they have the support they need.
• Make an Impact: Gather feedback, share ideas, and help enhance our programs to maximize our community reach.
• Hit the Road: Some regional and statewide travel is required to stay engaged with key stakeholders

• Bilingual? Even Better! – While nit required, fluency in another language is a plus.
