What are the responsibilities and job description for the Design Innovation Project Manager position at Mass General Brigham (Enterprise Services)?
Education
Bachelor's Degree required in Design, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field of study
Master's Degree in related field of study preferred
Experience
5 - 7 years of experience in project management, design innovation, or business development required
3 - 5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
Program Management & Human-centered Design Product Development:
Facilitate project team meetings to drive key decisions and completion of tactical next steps to ensure project execution, maintains project plan to reflect current progress
Contribute to and execute on a portfolio of solutions at varying stages of development - hardware, software and process improvements - ideated by MGB front-line providers, staff and patients with engagement of leadership at critical decisions points
Collaborating closely with the Strategic Lead of Impact & Evaluation, support project KPIs , and identification and assessment of outcomes and impact.
Works collaboratively in the design and execution of testing and piloting prototypes, data gathering and analyzing in support of project objectives
Liaise between innovation teams and end-users to generate high quality feedback that will inform both product requirements and iterative prototype design
Assist with implementing departmental process improvements and alternative workflows that may lead to cost-savings, revenue generation, and otherwise advancing system strategy for the health system
Support relationship management with internal and external mentors to innovators
Build relationships across the health system while working on cross-collaborative projects
Represent Springboard Studio in the local healthcare innovation community and ecosystem
Actively participates on project teams as a Springboard representative member and as a support resource
Create cogent, communicative materials for team meetings and presentations
Coordinates activities with the Senior Consultant and assists with assigned teams' meeting cadence and preparation
Identifies potential obstacles and works with appropriate Springboard colleagues to diagnose and determine solution(s)
Contributes to and participates in the continuing learning and creative culture of the Springboard Studio

Hybrid schedule requirement:
This position is hybrid and requires 1-3 days per week onsite.
Wednesdays are onsite at Assembly Row in Somerville, MA. May require local travel to other MGB sites.
