* Maintain and update clinical knowledge and skills based on current nursing education practices.* Adhere to Department of Nursing requirements for required training.* Contribute to relevant committees, professional meetings, continuing educational and/or formal academic programs.
* Coordinate involvement of the patient, family, and health team members in patient care, including patient/family education, teaching, and discharge planning. Document relevant patient data/information. Communicate the plan of care and other pertinent information to/from other health care team members. Promote continuity of care through effective hand-offs.
Working Conditions
The working conditions for this position include working in various hospitals within the system and having opportunities for flexible scheduling.
