The Chief Nurse Anesthetist is responsible for the direction, guidance, and evaluation of his/her department nursing personnel; for maintaining effective working relationships with intra-interdisciplinary personnel who provide support services to the department; and for the delegation of his/her authority to insure coordination of activities necessary for effective and efficient department operations.
