Brigham and Women’s Harbor Medical Associates in South Weymouth is located at 541 Main Street, South Weymouth, 02190. This location has multiple specialties including Cardiology, Diagnostic Radiology, Endocrinology, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Pathology, Pulmonology, Sleep Medicine and Vascular Surgery. This location also provides services such as Blood Draw Lab, Imaging, Primary Care and Urgent Care/Fast Care.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Triage Nurse to join our growing Primary Care/Family Medicine office in South Weymouth!
The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday with staggered shifts based on the needs. The start times range from 8am-9:30am and the end times range from 4:30-5:30pm. Exact schedule is determined upon hire, but overall flexibility is needed.
The Triage RN supports our healthcare teams primarily through phone triage but has some patient facing hands-on aspects as well. The Nurse will handle patient interactions via telephone, provide advice in accordance with clinical protocols, and coordinate proper disposition. Calls are related to patient concerns, appointments, pre and post procedures, urgent care, inpatient admissions, prescription refills ,and test results. This person will be an integral part of an extraordinary team!
Qualifications
Education
- Associate's Degree Nursing required
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
Licenses and Credentials
- Registered Nurse [RN - MA State License]
Experience
- Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Familiarity with the principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment.
- Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is being provided.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.
