Job Summary
The Advanced Life Support (ACLS/PALS) Instructor is responsible for effectively presenting the course content, demonstrating the skills of ACLS and/or PALS, and evaluating the performance of skills as demonstrated by each class participant.Qualifications

Licenses and Credentials
- ACLS Instructor [ACLS-INS] - American Heart Association (AHA)
- HeartSaver CPR Instructor [Heartsaver CPR AED - CPR-INS] - American Heart Association (AHA) preferred BLS certification required
Experience
- Experience in training and development. 2-3 years required
- One (1) to three (3) years experience as an ACLS and/or PALS/PEARS Instructor preferred Demonstrated public speaking ability required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with developing and delivering training programs
- Experience with working with employers to identify training needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work under pressure.
