30 hour day position as Gift Shop Asociate
Job Summary
Job Summary:The Gift Shop Assistant supports the daily operations of the hospital Gift Shop by assisting with inventory management, customer service, and sales transactions. This role ensures a positive shopping experience for customers while maintaining efficient store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing inventory, pricing merchandise, and entering items into the POS system under the direction of the Manager.
Participate in planning and executing special sales and seasonal promotions.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers and answering questions about merchandise or orders.
Ensure accurate daily sales reconciliation, including receipts and deposits.
Make in-house deliveries to patient care areas as needed.
Qualifications
High School education required
2 years of experience in sales and merchandising required
Excellent customer service skills required
Working Conditions :
Must be able to stand, and walk for extended periods while doing displays, helping customers, and operating cash register.
Must be able to reach overhead storage shelves and bend or stoop to reach items stored under counters
