Job Summary
SummaryResponsible for assisting healthcare professionals in the assessment and screening of individuals for hearing disorders. The primary responsibility of this role will be to conduct hearing screenings and tests using various specialized equipment and techniques.

Essential Functions
-Performs hearing tests on individuals of all age groups using audiometers, otoacoustic emissions machines, tympanometers, and other relevant screening equipment.
- Records and analyzes patients' medical history and other relevant information to determine appropriate screening methods and protocols.
- Ensures proper calibration, maintenance, and cleanliness of screening equipment to ensure accurate test results and patient safety.
- Accurately documents and maintains records of patient information, test results, and screening procedures.
- Explains the purpose of hearing screenings to patients, provide instructions for the testing process, and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
- Collaborates with audiologists, otolaryngologists, and other healthcare professionals to review test results, discuss findings, and recommend appropriate follow-up actions.
- Follows established protocols and quality assurance measures to maintain accuracy and reliability in hearing screenings.
- Stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in hearing screening techniques, equipment, and industry best practices through professional development and training opportunities.
