Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program and be licensed to practice physical therapy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. They must also have experience working with patients with orthopedic impairments and conditions, including non-operative and post-operative management of the spine, upper extremities, and lower extremities.
Applicants must also be able to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, analytical abilities and sound knowledge in physical therapy, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They must also be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain accurate records and reports.
Preferred qualifications include board certification in physical therapy, completion of a residency program in orthopedic physical therapy, and experience working in an academic medical center. A strong understanding of electronic medical records and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are also desirable.
