The Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a system-led operating entity formed by Mass General Brigham to deliver high quality, low cost, innovative community-based ambulatory care. This work stems from Mass General Brigham’s unified system strategy to bring health care closer to patients while lowering total health care costs. The Medical Group provides a wide range of offerings, including primary care, specialty care, behavioral and mental health, and urgent care, both digitally as well as at physical locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. The group also offers outpatient surgery and endoscopy, imaging, cardiac testing, and infusion. Recognizing and valuing exceptional talent, we're eager to discuss the exciting details of this bonus during our interview process!The Opportunity The Medical Technologist (MT), in the role as Testing Personnel as defined by CLIA, may be delegated the responsibility of the technical oversight of the laboratory including the day-to-day oversight of the laboratory operation and personnel performing testing and reporting results. Under general supervision, the MT carries out all policies and performs all tests in accordance with the department’s standard operating procedures. Works independently in an efficient and organized manner to assure accurate results and records. Assists with training of staff. The work requires a professional level of knowledge to read and interpret accurately test results used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Hours: Monday - Friday 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm, rotating weekends - day shifts. Location: 541 Main Street, South Weymouth -Free Parking!
Qualifications
Qualifications:
1. Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology or Chemical, Physical, or biological science from an accredited college or university, OR
2. Meets other qualifications as described in the Federal Register, 42 CFR, Subpart M 493.1403 – 1495.
3. ASCP certification or equivalent preferred.
