Job Summary:
This position involves providing patient care according to the philosophy and standards of the Department of Nursing, utilizing clinical skills to integrate and implement the nursing process with the plan of care, and delegating duties to other caregivers as required.
Responsibilities:
- Providing direct patient care services, such as administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support to patients and their families
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
- Documenting patient information accurately and thoroughly in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred
- Current license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration as a Registered Nurse
Preferred Skills:
- Effective verbal, electronic and written communications skills using the English language
- Computer proficiency required; Microsoft office applications preferred with ability to learn new software
