Medical Director of Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine

Cooley Dickinson Hospital, a member of Massachusetts General Brigham (MGB), is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible orthopedic surgeon to join our well-established, collegial, and skilled team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience and will oversee the clinical operations of our outpatient Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine Practice.
Position Overview :
As the Site Medical Director, you'll report to the Co-Medical Director of Specialty Care, leading outpatient clinical operations. You'll provide direct oversight for surgeons, physicians, and advanced practice providers, fostering a collaborative and effective environment with your Practice Manager and Administrator.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and inspire a team, promoting communication, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure high standards of patient care and clinical evaluation across all providers at the site.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, demonstrating professionalism and respect.

Cooley Dickinson Medical Group Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is a hub of expertise, providing specialized treatment and prevention for musculoskeletal issues. Our holistic approach integrates personalized services within our practice and with other healthcare providers, ensuring comprehensive care for patients of all ages. Our team includes five orthopedic surgeons, one physiatrist, and five Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), all working together in our newly expanded, state-of-the-art facility.
