Job Description
Mass General Brigham is seeking a Social Work Social Worker for an ongoing per diem / prn job in Northampton, Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical social work functions and provide social services case work and discharge planning activities for clients on Cooley Dickinson's Behavioral Health Unit (West 5) and their family members.
- Assess and address clinical treatment goals while an inpatient, establishing liaisons with community providers and other hospital programs to achieve continuity of care.
- Provide other clinical services, including family education, bio-psychosocial assessments, groups, and aspects of treatment planning and implementation.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work.
- Current licensure as a Certified Social Worker (LICSW) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Current CPR certification.
- CPI certification within 90 days.
- Five years experience in a social work setting and in mental health, with addictions experience preferred.
- Current Massachusetts driver's license, good driving record, and access to reliable transportation.
