Fulltime Sunday through Thursday 8 : 00 to 4 : 30 pm 40 hours
Job Summary
Rehabilitation Services Department at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital provides excellent acute hospital level rehabilitation to a patient population with various clinical presentations. BWFH is currently building a new patient care building of 78 additional beds. We are in the process of adding additional positions. Our inpatient therapy team consists of diverse clinicians with extensive experience and specialization in multiple clinical areas. Our multidisciplinary therapy team consists of physical, occupational and speech therapists who perform evaluation and treatment for patients in all areas including orthopedics, post-surgical, medical, neurologic, intensive care unit (ICU), emergency department, observation units and general medicine currently looking for a full time physical therapist who would like a consistent schedule to provide coverage for our multidiscipline patients on Sundays to maintain our Stroke Center Status, and opportunity to grow into a lead position with our new additional beds. Consideration will be given to other potential schedule hours.
The inpatient rehab department has a strong model of advanced coursework, journal club, and clinical sharing. Qualifications
- MS or DPT in Physical Therapy
- Licensed by the State of Massachusetts
- Current CPR certification
- Specialist Certifications are highly valued
- Acute care experience preferred.
