The Kim lab in Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and Division of Genetics at Brigham and Women's Hospital / Harvard Medical School is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow. Our group utilizes molecular and computational biology tools to investigate genetic and molecular basis of heart failure. Commonly used approaches in our laboratory include human induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes, genome editing (e.g., CRISPR/Cas9, base editing), single cell RNA-sequencing, whole genome sequencing analysis, and mouse models.
Qualifications:
- PhD or MD/PhD in biological sciences ,engineering, or related field
- Expertise in mammalian cell culture, genetic engineering, flow cytometry, molecular biology, and programming skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a team-oriented setting and execute detailed technical protocols meticulously
