What are the responsibilities and job description for the PM IV position at Mass., Inc.?
To assist in managing the overall food service operation at Souza Baranowski Correctional Center, monitoring menus to ensure adherence with Department of Correction cycle menu, recipes and/or product specifications is crucial.
Key responsibilities include ensuring all food produced at SBCC is nutritionally adequate, handled in a safe manner and prepared according to Department of Corrections recipes. Additionally, overseeing the monitoring of as served menus with supporting documentation for any/all variances is essential.
The role also involves assisting in the monitoring of all Medical and Religious Diets to ensure compliance in a coordinated effort with Health Services and the Director of Treatment at SBCC. Furthermore, monitoring compliance with minimum health and sanitation standards in accordance with D.ACA and PDCU policies for SBCC is critical.
Developing and implementing monthly sanitation and maintenance reports that are site specific to any noted deficiencies is also an important aspect of the job. Acting as a liaison between the Food Service Director, Directors of Engineering and the Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent regarding matters of sanitation, maintenance issues and any food related issues that are noted is another key responsibility.
Assisting in the monitoring of ACA standards and documentation for the Food Service operation, acting as a liaison between Director of Treatment, Health Services Unit, Superintendent, Deputy Superintendent, and the Food Service Director to ensure compliance specific to Medical and Religious Diet adherences, and implementing preventive maintenance equipment forms to follow up on any issues involving kitchen equipment at SBCC are also essential duties.
The ideal candidate will have four years' experience in the management of institutional food service operations and be proficient with Microsoft software. They must be able to maintain a flexible schedule to ensure full coverage in and around meal service times.
