Perio - dental office seeking a detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk tasks and providing excellent customer service to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify insurance information and process payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Utilize dental software for patient management
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
- Coordinate with referral for patient care
- Answering Telephone Call and Emails
- Scheduling, Rescheduling and Confirming Appointments
- Verifying Insurance
- Presenting Treatment Plans and Discussing Copayments
- Financial Arrangements & Collecting Copayments
- Submitting Dental Claims, Aging Reports, Posting Insurance Payments and Billing
- End of Day Reports
Occasionally assist in the back office with clinical duties
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental or medical receptionist role preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical scheduling procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong understanding of front desk operations and phone systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in an administrative role is a plus
- Passion for patient service and satisfaction
