Clinic Access Manager
Summary: The Clinic Access Manager plays a critical leadership role in overseeing daily clinic operations, ensuring exceptional patient experiences, and fostering a culture of accountability, compassion, and trust.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in supervision of clinic operations including patient registration and scheduling, collections, front desk workflow, incoming/outgoing mail, supply ordering, daily reporting, and monthly reporting.
- Ensure adherence to clinic standards of practice and revise protocols as needed.
- Handle patient concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Serve as a liaison between front office staff and providers, ensuring smooth communication and patient flow.
- Collect, report, and present Performance Improvement (PI) data and lead improvement discussions with providers and staff.
- Work in close collaboration with the Clinic Manager to align goals, staffing, and workflows.
- Support clinic compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards and lead preparation efforts for surveys.
- Oversee policy and procedure development to ensure clarity, risk mitigation, and optimal service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in a healthcare or clinic setting preferred.
- Experience supervising front office operations strongly preferred.
- Meditech EHR experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, insurance, and coding.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Education: High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
