LPN - Patel Clinic - FT
Summary: Assist to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care needs of each patient using nursing process. Duties primarily delegated but LPN is accountable for own nursing actions and competencies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect nursing data and collaborate in assessments
- Participate in patient and family/caregiver education to support patient
- Advocate for patients and participate in evaluation of patient response
- Provide range of care including but no limited to medication administration, dressing changes, monitor vital signs and document
- Report or update patient care issues or problems to correct or monitor
- Perform other duties as delegated within the scope of licensure
- successfully gain competency in entering and retrieving data by means of electronic medical records system.
Education: Graduate of accredited practical nurse program. Must have active Illinois license and current BLS.
Experience: 2 years experience in a clinic setting preferred.
Shift: Monday-Friday
