The Stoneham, MA School Committee invites future-focused, highly qualified candidates with an educational vision to apply for the position of Superintendent of Stoneham Public Schools.
Stoneham, population 23,300, is a suburban community located nine miles north of Boston; its proximity to major highways and public transportation offers convenient access to Boston and the North Shore coastal region.
Stoneham Public Schools educates 2,338 students in five facilities :
- Stoneham Early Learning Center (located in both Colonial Park School and Stoneham High School), enrollment 100
- Colonial Park Elementary School, Grades PreK-4, enrollment 228
- Robin Hood Elementary School, Grades K-4, enrollment 381
- South Elementary School, Grades K-4, enrollment 346
- Stoneham Central Middle School, Grades 5-8, enrollment 688
- The new Stoneham High School, Grades 9-12, enrollment 595
