Job Duties / Responsibilities
SolarKal is seeking a self-driven and motivated individual to enhance the company’s marketing strategy as it sustains a crucial growth phase. This is a rare opportunity to get hands-on experience in the cleantech sector and the burgeoning solar energy industry by working in a fast-growing start-up with several accolades and awards under its belt and a promising future.
The intern will work closely with the company’s senior leadership (Marketing Director) to support the company’s marketing strategy and ancillary new customer acquisition strategies to drive overall sales growth. This role will involve working on a variety of activities such as copywriting, market research, content creation, social media, and press relations.
This is a full-time semester-long Internship. The intern will have a variety of responsibilities, which include :
- Write high-engagement content across various mediums that reflect SolarKal’s brand voice.
- Plan, build, and execute marketing campaigns and direct-to-client communication plans for digital and traditional channels (e.g., social media, email, publications, events, etc.).
- Social media program development including drafting content, monitoring results, making recommendations on automating platforms.
- Contribute to strategic planning and execution of SolarKal branding campaigns.
- Participate in vendor and partner meetings, creating supporting materials as needed.
- Support the marketing and sales teams in software / tool optimization, ROI analyses, and ad hoc requests.
