Role Summary Research Assistant available in Human Neuroimaging Department at Mass. Eye and Ear at our Main Campus, 243 Charles Street, Boston, 02114. Main Campus 40 hours per week with benefits. The Simonyan Laboratory at Massachusetts Eye and Ear and Harvard Medical School (https://simonyanlab.hms.harvard.edu) has open positions for one research assistant. The lab's primary research focus is on understanding brain mechanisms of normal and disordered voice and speech production. The research assistant's primary responsibilities will be to recruit study participants, perform their screening and behavioral testing, and conduct brain imaging studies. In addition, the research assistant will provide administrative support and coordinate between the collaborating laboratories. Qualifications - External Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in neuroscience, natural sciences, communication sciences, computer science, mathematics, or related disciplines. Independent, self-motivated, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and outstanding organizational skills. Strong computer experience and basic statistics competence. Previous neuroimaging research experience and familiarity with image acquisition and processing using computational (Linux, MATLAB) and statistical (e.g., AFNI, FSL, SPM) methods will be of advantage.
