What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical unit position at Massachusetts General Hospital?
Ellison 19 is a 30 bed Thoracic, Vascular and Laryngeal Surgery unit, primarily taking patients after SICU and PACU recovery.
Surgeries include complex thoracic, esophageal, pulmonary, laryngeal, tracheal resections and reconstruction and diverse vascular surgeries including amputations, aortic grafting, and interventional procedures.
These patients require postoperative management which may include chest tubes, tracheal tubes which require airway management, pain management via Epidural or IV catheters, and telemetry monitoring.

Must have current licensure as a registered nurse in Massachusetts.
