Medical Technologist (Med Tech)

We are seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join our team. Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• WV Licensure as an MLS within 90 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or a related physical, chemical, or biological science.
• For certain new hires, a high school diploma with appropriate training may be acceptable.
  
  

Preferred qualifications include certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP or AMT) and prior experience in the field.

Core responsibilities involve performing and analyzing clinical lab tests, maintaining laboratory instruments, ensuring quality control, and interacting with healthcare staff. Candidates should possess strong multitasking abilities, effective communication skills, and basic computer knowledge.

This is a full-time position requiring in-person work. Physical demands include lifting, standing, and exposure to potentially hazardous materials.
