ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT, Alumni Association Technology Services & Initiatives (TSI) , will manage and support technical projects by working with internal stakeholders on technology solutions, process improvements, documentation, and user support; project constituent or alumni focused technology for use on sites such as alum.mit.edu, alumcommunity.mit.edu and giving.mit.edu; coordinate technical needs for Alumni Association events; collaborate with Associate Director and Director to test web services/products.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED : Bachelor’s degree in a related field; a minimum of two years of experience in technical or operational projects, including software support; proficiency in troubleshooting applications and documentation preparation; robust organizational skills; keen attention to detail; multitasking ability; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse environment; knack for solving complex problems; comfort with web technologies, and proficiency using computers, Microsoft Office, and web presentation tools like Zoom; and professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, and a commitment to quality. This is a hybrid position with a combination of on-campus and remote work.
