Requirements and Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Emergency Management or a related field (including public health, public administration, or law) by Fall 2025.
Ability to teach in one or more of the following areas: Terrorism and Homeland Security, Exercise Design and Development, Emergency Planning, Transportation Security, Emergency Management, Communications, GIS, and/or Emergency Management related Information Technology courses.
Demonstrated potential to fulfill evaluation criteria for teaching and advising at the college level.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and computer skills. Understanding and appreciation of the Academy's unique mission.
