What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tenure Track Faculty Position position at Massachusetts Maritime Academy?
Key Responsibilities
- Teach college-level courses in Emergency Management and related topic areas, including Terrorism and Homeland Security, Exercise Design and Development, Emergency Planning, Transportation Security, Emergency Management Communications, GIS, and Information Technology courses.
- Develop and improve curriculum in support of the Department's goals.
- Participate in academic committees and contribute to the development of Experiential Learning Programs within the Emergency Management Department.
- Provide academic advising to assigned student advisees.
All faculty members at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy are expected to demonstrate computer literacy, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a deep understanding of the Academy's unique mission.
