The OpportunityWe’re looking for a high caliber individual to fill the role of Stable Value, Adviser Client portfolios in the Adviser sold DC markets for 401k, 457, 403b, HSA, Taft Hartley plans. Our innovative range of stable solutions are designed to serve the diverse capital preservation needs of all plan types and span the spectrum of general account, separate account, group annuity, GIC, CIT and custom wrap solutions backed by credit and financial strength of MassMutual.In this role, you'll report directly into the Head of Institutional Investments who has oversight on all aspects of the stable value line of business. You'll partner with the Stable Value Adviser Sales Team to expand into adviser segments of the DC marketplace.We're looking for an individual that is specialized and deeply knowledgable in the stable value markets, especially in insurance guaranteed solutions targeted to meet the stable value needs of financial advisers, RIA aggregators, consultants, small to mid-sized Plans. Ideally, you're a team player, a quick learner, can multi-task effectively to handle changing needs of a dynamic growth business - move from technical sales to new product development along with in-force relationship management of the nearly $4B book of business. We work collaboratively and inclusively with high standards of accountability and a focus on excellent customer service.The role is an exciting opportunity to join this high impact team that is charged with the strategic growth of stable value, retaining and growing our client base along with bringing new solutions to market and delivering on business goals.The RoleAs the Stable Value, Adviser Client Portfolios your responsibilities and duties will include : CPM : Business Development Technical SupportServe as the technical and SME in product, and a key resource to stable to Field sales Team grow MassMutual stable value assets in adviser sold market.Help the business deliver on annual growth targets – Sales and Client retention.Function as key liaison between sales team and affiliate asset manager Barings and internal partners in product and legalLead internal teams in developing new competitive products and bringing to market.Able to travel occasionally for prospect meetings or finalist presentations.Lead In-force Client and product ManagementLead the RM team and manage holistically all aspects of the in-force and newly awarded business including client service, troubleshooting and flagging emerging risk and profitability concerns.Work with advisers to understand needs or address concerns and offer the right set alternatives that work for both the client and MassMutual.Key contributor and leader developing solutions for managing risks of in-force block.Problem solve any issues and improve on existing products.Potentially manage a small team focused on adviser client relations.Middle Office Support functions & establish best practiceNegotiate Recordkeeping Agreements with large partners.Establish Trading Infrastructure with RecordkeepersProvide Research Team and RFP Support for new business deals.Other Misc.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree8 years in Stable Value focused on the adviser segment with management experienceLife and Health licensed or ability to procure one within 180 days of hire.5 years of experience working with fixed income portfolios and benchmarks including an understanding of investment terminology and applicable analysis3 years of experience in client management with varying levels of client sophistication3 years of experience at reviewing and analyzing both written (contracts, agreements, guidelines) and numerical (financial statements, investment performance reports) materials.Ideal QualificationsMaster's degreeUnderstanding of DC plans, their regulatory landscape and product solutionsKnowledge of insurance and experience in single guarantor stable value productsStrong knowledge of general account and separate accounts, ratings, capital etc,High Accountability and a sense of urgency with a focus on timely executionDemonstrated agility and drive for results that can be deployed in multiple directions.Natural ability for building strong relationships and credibility with all internal stakeholdersExcellent communication, can effectively present complex issues internally and externally.What to Expect as Part of MassMutual and the TeamRegular meetings with the Stable Value teamFocused one-on-one meetings with your manager.Access to mentorship opportunitiesNetworking opportunities including access to Asian, Hispanic / Latinx, African American, women, LGBTQ, veteran and disability-focused Business Resource GroupsAccess to learning content on Degreed and other informational platformsYour ethics and integrity will be valued by a company with a strong and stable ethical core value with industry leading pay and benefits.#LI-BC1Salary Range : $134,400.00-$176,400.00At MassMutual, we focus on ensuring fair equitable pay, by providing competitive salaries, along with incentive and bonus opportunities for all employees.
