About Raw Art Works (RAW) :

Raw Art Works (RAW) is a community arts organization founded in 1988, dedicated to empowering young people through art therapy. RAW provides a safe, inclusive space where youth aged 8-19 can express themselves creatively, process life experiences, and develop essential skills for their futures. RAW's programs include visual arts, digital film school classes, leadership development, and college and career access initiatives, serving over 350 youth annually. The organization is committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring that every young person's voice is heard and valued.

Role Overview :

The Development Director at RAW plays a pivotal role in advancing the organization's mission by overseeing all fundraising activities and fostering meaningful relationships with donors and stakeholders. Reporting to the Executive Director and serving as a member of the Leadership Team, the Development Director leads a team responsible for raising over $3 million annually and aims to significantly increase revenue to support RAW's growth.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with RAW's long-term goals and recent development assessment.
• Lead and mentor the development team to execute fundraising initiatives, including individual, foundation, government, and corporate support.
