Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell seeks a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join the Human Resources team. The Human Resource Administrative Assistant will provide a wide range of clerical and administrative duties related to the operations of the Human Resources Division.
Duties and Reponsibilities: Duties for the Human Resources Administrative Assistant include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of the Human Resources Division and will provide administrative assistance across all functions of the Division.
Provide direct support to the Director and Deputy Director of Human Resources.
Create and distribute New Hire Letters and New Hire Paperwork.
Responsible for personnel and compliance records management, including background check process and employment verifications.
Serves as the Division contact person and interacts with employees, managers, executive staff, and members of the public.
Responsible for maintaining the file room and keeping personnel files up-to-date; receiving, sorting, and distributing mail; receiving and screening visitors and telephone calls; responding to routine inquiries regarding office procedure; supporting the Office's programs and initiatives; and providing general office assistance, as needed.
May assist with data entry and maintenance of Human Resources Information systems.
Responsible for maintaining various personnel reports, tracking spreadsheets, and updating the Division's internal page on SharePoint.
Performs other duties, as assigned.
Position Type: Full-Time/Exempt. The candidate hired to fill this position will work three days in office and two days remotely.
Salary: $56,592

Job Qualifications:

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail. Must be able to manage work independently, monitor timelines and deadlines, and multi-task efficiently. Must have solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Working knowledge of BambooHR or other Human Information systems is helpful. Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality is a must. Bachelor's degree and/or at least two years of administrative support experience is preferred. The successful candidate will have the interest and ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds.
