Childcare Provider

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our Spanish immersion family childcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating children in a safe and engaging environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, providing educational activities, and ensuring their overall well-being. The Childcare Provider will play a crucial role in fostering a positive developmental experience for each child in their care. Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Provide care for infants, including feeding, diaper changing, and ensuring comfort.
• Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare space, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Assist children with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and personal hygiene.
• Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.

Experience

• Previous experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers, nannying, or preschool environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus.
• Familiarity with first aid practices is highly desirable.
• Experience working with children with disabilities is an asset.
• Strong behavior management skills to effectively guide children's actions positively.
• A genuine love for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
• EEC Certified (If you are not certified we can help you get certified for free)
• First Aid certified (If you are not certified we can help you get certified for free)
• Spanish speaking a plus

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
