What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at Massanutten Resort?
Massanutten Resort is hiring driven professionals who turn challenges into victories! The Main Line Sales Representative is responsible for selling vacation ownership products to prospective customers in a professional and reliable manner.
Duties/Responsibilities:
90% - Customer Tours & Sales
- Performs uninterrupted tours of the resort with potentials customers
- Presents and sells vacation ownership products and services to current and potential customers.
- Transport customer safely around the resort and walks with customer to preview the models and resort amenities (which may or may not include eating with guests).
- Identifies and resolves guests concerns during the transaction.
- Surveys potential guests regarding their travel desires, habits, and frequency of travel in order to assess their needs.
- Meets daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
10% - Administrative Work & Meetings
- Attend daily sales meetings and education activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments and pre-tour activities
- Develops and maintains sales materials and current product knowledge
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms with a diverse workgroup to negotiate win-win solutions.
- Excellent customer services skills
- Ability to perform guided tours of the resort with potential customers (tours last up to 3 hours)
- Ability to learn and replicate a scripted sales presentation with exactness.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation w/ verifiable auto insurance as required by State law.
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS
- Driven attitude with ability to meet profitable sales expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience.
- 3 years of customer service experience.
