We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that common areas, restrooms, hallways, and other designated spaces are kept clean, safe, and well-maintained. You will also be responsible for minor maintenance tasks, handling deliveries, and assisting other departments as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all common areas, including hallways, lobbies, elevators, restrooms, and break rooms.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces as required.
- Remove trash, recyclables, and other debris from designated areas.
- Ensure restrooms are clean and fully stocked with supplies.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of outdoor spaces, including walkways and parking areas.
- Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Handle deliveries, including receiving and distributing packages or supplies.
- Set up and break down equipment or furniture for meetings or events as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Respond to cleaning or maintenance requests promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a janitorial, porter, or maintenance role is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and follow a schedule.
