Job Description : Accepting Applications for Spring Semester 2025, and for Academic Year 2025-2026The tutor will provide in-person and online tutoring services to Dental Assisting students.Responsibilities and Duties :
- Provide subject tutoring in Dental Assisting
- Provide one-on-one and group tutoring
- Coordinate with Dental Assisting faculty on subject matter as neededTHIS POOL IS VALID THROUGH JUNE 30, 2025. APPLICANTS WISHING TO REMAIN IN THE POOL MUST REAPPLY AND UPDATE THEIR INFORMATION THEREAFTER.Professional Tutors are part time employees hired on an as needed basis. Positions may consist of day, night, or weekend positions and may be in Brockton, Canton, Middleborough, or any other instructional site.Please note : Positions will be available pending sufficient enrollment. - Associate's degree or certification in Dental assistingPreferred Qualifications :
- Experience teaching or tutoring in a dental assisting programAdditional Information : Position Status : Part-time, Non-benefited Massachusetts Community College Council (MCCC) union position.This position is subject to grant funding (Perkins Grant) and is contingent upon availability of funds.Hours : Up to 15 hours per week. Hours will vary (not to exceed 936 hours annually)
- Schedule : Tutoring hours are based on demand for services, compatibility of schedules, and staffing needs. Tutors are scheduled on a semester-by-semester basis.Spring Semester 2025, and for Academic Year 2025-2026Salary : $35.31 per hourWorksite : Assignments will include all Massasoit sites and additional locations as necessary.Deadline to Apply : June 30, 2025Application Instructions : A cover letter and resume are required, please apply online.
