Assistant Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a productive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have experience in inventory management, sales management, and team dynamics within a grocery store setting.

Duties

• Assist in managing store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment.
• Oversee inventory management, including stock levels and product pricing.
• Participate in recruiting and onboarding new employees.
• Utilize POS systems for transaction processing and sales tracking.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.

Requirements

• Proven experience in store management or a similar role within the grocery industry.
• Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
• Proficient in inventory management practices and techniques.
• Familiarity with POS systems and sales tracking methods.
• Excellent math skills for accurate pricing and financial transactions.
