Job Summary
The Program Associate - Homebuyer Counselor will provide comprehensive pre-purchase counseling and conduct homebuyer training seminars. This position plays a vital role in educating and guiding potential homeowners through the complex process of purchasing their first home.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and facilitate in-person and virtual trainings, including :
o Homebuyer training classes
o Multi-Family / Landlord training classes
o Various educational workshops related to homeownership
o Developing comprehensive budgets and analyzing credit reports
o Matching clients with suitable mortgage products and programs based on their individual
financial situations and needs
o Creating tailored action plans to achieve homeownership goals
abatement and local rehab loans
applicants for affordable housing opportunities and assisting with open houses as needed

Expected Hours of Work
Monday - Friday, 8am -4pm, in-person. Some flexibility for remote work, with supervisory approval. Occasional evenings and weekends for classes, special projects or events, with notice.
