We work year-round and have not had a layoff in nearly 25 years!
We work Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm in our union production area. Voluntary overtime is usually available for those employees who want the extra hours (time and a half after 8 hours). We occasionally have required overtime, but ALWAYS with a minimum of 3 days’ advance notice. Our employees have a generous full-benefit package, with minimal medical and dental premium contributions, 401k with 2% per pay 401k profit sharing contribution and employer match, vacation and 11 paid holidays a year! At MCC/Vail, we don't work on holidays, we just pay employees to enjoy their time off work with pay while other companies work!
Our open positions range from corrugated rotary press and heavy machine operators and press and machine helpers, press and machine utility workers who assist in all areas. Our pay rates for our open positions range from $20.21 to $22.52 per hour with a 5% increase slated for August 2025. All positions require mechanical skills, heavy lifting and other physical demands. Experience working in production environments gives an applicant an advantage since employees in our open positions are setting up and running machinery, reading factory orders, accurately reading tape measures, gauges and other test equipment, utilizing basic shop math, inspecting, loading, counting and stacking products, and accurately reading and completing production and shipping documents and following directions. Our team relies on their work partners to be there when they are scheduled, so if you can’t make it to work on time and finish your shift on a regular basis, save yourself some time and apply elsewhere! We are a small company and need all hands on deck for their scheduled shifts.
