Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and company recipes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including slicers, grills, and ovens.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Follow all food handling procedures to maintain quality and safety standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS experience is a plus) and cash handling procedures.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic knowledge of retail math for accurate order processing and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for food preparation and a willingness to learn new skills related to sandwich making and food handling.
