An A&B Distributors District Manager is responsible for demonstrating “Above & Beyond” service, sales, and execution standards in all retail accounts by directing sales of Company products to existing and potential retail accounts through the management of their Account Managers.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate market conditions and implement territory improvement plans to ensure attainment of Company sales goals
- Supervise team of Account Managers and Merchandisers to maximize sales potential for all retail accounts by conducting routine team meetings, setting priorities, and tracking results and trends regularly
- Trains new team members and ensures understanding of Company policies, practices, products, and services
- Actively seeks out and participates in the recruitment of new employees
- Proven ability to form new partnerships with customers and coworkers while maintaining superior customer relationships
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- Follow all requirements written in handbook
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
- Must be 21 years of age or older with a Valid Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as a demonstrated ability to utilize sales applications within ERP software (i.e. Encompass).
- 1 customer service, retail, sales, or service industry experience
- Ability to secure and maintain auto-liability insurance in accordance with state laws
- Strong communication skills and supervisory skills in directing and coaching others
- BS/BA degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field
- 1 years’ prior experience selling to the off-premise market
- 2 years customer service or sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry
- 2 years’ experience with Sales, sales platforms, and service industry
