The Opportunity

As an Actuary in the ALM and Capital Modeling group, you will lead research and development projects strategically aimed at improving Cash Flow Testing analytical capabilities, understanding the drivers of CFT results, and assessing impacts of changing methodologies under various scenarios. You will collaborate with team members to improve our understanding of Solvency results to help educate senior management and guide business decisions.

Job Responsibilities

• Research strategic initiatives and determine potential changes within our CFT models and results that address them.
• Develop projects that balance efficiency, accuracy, and complexity of model calculations.
• Help improve CFT analytical processes to allow for more timely and accurate results.
• Build infrastructure to help isolate impacts on CFT results and anticipate future impacts.
• Provide guidance and training to develop understanding within and outside of the functional area.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or new Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), or equivalent professional credential from recognized professional actuarial association.
• 6 years of relevant actuarial experience
  
  

Ideal Qualifications

• Knowledge of Prophet Software
• Prior experience with Traditional Fixed and Index-Linked Deferred Annuities
• Experience with Cash Flow Projection Modeling
