Qualifications :
- B.A / B.S. Degree
- Experience in athletics administration, event planning, or related fields preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for sporting events.
- Familiarity with athletic software programs (Schedule Star, MaxPreps, AllPlayers, ImPACT) is a plus.
- Ability to travel between campuses as needed.
- Knowledge of GSuite Applications : Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.
- Demonstrate an ability to facilitate communication among coworkers, students, and parents.
- Must be able to evaluate problems, prioritize work and determine solutions.
- Must possess and maintain valid Pennsylvania school clearances.

This role includes administrative tasks, event coordination, compliance tracking, and communications management to ensure a well-organized and effective athletic program.
Responsibilities :
Assist the Athletic Director with daily activities and tasks related to the athletic program.Track student-athlete eligibility for participation across all grade levels and MaST schools.Maintain and manage documentation required for student-athlete participation, including online registrations, athletic fees, and PIAA physical forms.Keep up-to-date records of coaches' CPR, First Aid, and coaching certificates, as well as schedule necessary training to ensure compliance.Utilize athletic software such as Schedule Star, MaxPreps, AllPlayers, and ImPACT for scheduling, recordkeeping, registration, and concussion management.Organize, coordinate, and emcee schoolwide pep rallies, fundraisers, and awards banquets.Assist in the development and execution of fundraisers to support the athletic department.Serve as an administrative presence at home sporting events, ensuring smooth operations.Work with the security team to maintain a safe environment during all home sporting events.Coordinate schedules and logistics for gym, field, and practice space usage.Check the status of offsite fields to determine playability during inclement weather.Prepare and maintain fields for gameplay as needed.Manage and schedule facility rentals, developing and maintaining relationships with outside organizations.Manage and update the school's athletic department website and social media platforms daily.Provide timely notifications regarding game cancellations, rescheduling, and other essential updates through the athletics website, Twitter, and text alert systems.Serve as a liaison between George Washington High School's athletic program (through cooperative sponsorship) and MaST's student-athletes or home school of residence athletes at MaST II.Assist in the creation and management of intramural programs and sports leagues within MaST Schools.Oversee and maintain the fitness centers at each MaST school, ensuring they are staffed and available for student use after school hours.Support the overall growth and improvement of the athletic program through innovative ideas and initiatives.Professional Obligations :
Enforce administration policies and rules governing students.Collaborate with other teachers and administrators in developing, evaluating, and revising school programs.Prepare reports on students and activities as required by the administration.Attend professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops to maintain and improve professional competence.Attend staff meetings, and have the opportunity to serve on committees.Sponsor extracurricular activities such as clubs, student organizations, and academic contests.Adhere to Professional Standard of Conduct, including confidentiality, code of ethics, and appropriate internet use, as outlined in the Policy and Procedures manual and Staff Handbook.Follow all approved board of trustee policies, including Financial and Purchasing, Attendance, RtII, and Curriculum Implementation.Perform administrative duties such as assisting the school media center, hall, cafeteria monitoring, and bus loading and unloading.Complete school-mandated technology PD hours.Perform all additional related duties and responsibilities as designated by the Local Administration, CEO, or Network Team.Terms of Employment : Twelve (12) months. Contract terms and salary to be determined by the Board of Trustees.
Evaluation : The performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of state law, administrative code, and the Board's policy on the evaluation for this position.
