We are looking for a Fleet Coordinator to join our team in the Portland, OR area.
Responsibilities
The best-fit candidate is one with a utility construction background who can quickly understand work processes and tracking systems, works well in a team environment, and is adept at problem-solving and developing ideas for increased efficiency. This position also required to work with different groups throughout the US to achieve one common goal.
Major Job Elements:
- Promote and facilitate an organized and efficient approach to inventories of equipment.
- Establish methodologies for tracking and establishing minimum inventory limits for key equipment to avoid any shortfalls or stockouts when items are requested from Operations.
- Coordinate equipment mobilization/demobilization and maintain utilization of equipment in the area of responsibility.
- Effectively and efficiently procure and move necessary equipment to operations groups to meet the demand of various projects at multiple locations.
- Work to ensure vendors are meeting established delivery terms and conditions.
- Ensure proper classification and rates of equipment.
- Lead by example, by continually looking to improve processes and promote the benefits of equipment process improvements, and capture results achieved.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Work experience in the procurement of utility construction equipment is preferred.
- Associate degree or 3-5 years industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT and environmental regulations is a plus.
- Computer skills – proficiency with MS Office application and Power BI is preferred.
