POSITION SUMMARY
ACC Midwest is in search for a Laborer within the Littleton, CO & surrounding areas. The Laborer is responsible for providing the physical labor required to maintain a project in a proper, efficient, and safe manner.
Responsibilities
- General Labor including shoveling, raking, unload materials, and housekeeping.
- Assisting skilled tradesman when required including working with a pipe or concrete crew.
- Complete tasks in the manner instructed by the project superintendent or foreman.
- Observe all safety practices as directed by the company, superintendent, foreman, and OSHA.
- Notify Superintendent of all unsafe practices.
- Utilize all PPE and report all injuries or potential hazards to the project superintendent or foreman immediately.
- Use, operate, and maintain all job site equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Participate in daily and weekly safety activities to support the project in positively advancing the work.
- Report to the assigned project at the scheduled time.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to perform various physical tasks such as shoveling, hammering, kneeling, lifting, and carrying.
- Ability to regularly uneven soil conditions.
- Ability to repeatedly lift/pull/push/30 pounds.
- Knowledge of proper lifting techniques, tool/equipment use.
